Running enthusiasts can register for individual (or all 5) races sponsored by four of the
American Association for Nude Recreation-Southwest Region’s clubs. Runners compete in age
and gender categories and must finish at least three races to be eligible for the series awards.
During the series, runners accumulate points for each race they complete. Series points are
awarded based on each racer´s finish time and his/her gender. At the end of the series, the
points from each runner’s three best races are totaled and AANR-SW will present overall and
age group “series” awards to those with the highest point totals.
According to AANR President, Mitch London, “The Nude Racing Series is a major ‘Nude Bucket
List items for many people. We give them the opportunity to fulfill that and also talk with them
about who AANR is and what we stand for. The Nude Racing Series is for everyone, whether
you are a serious runner, or just want to stroll along at your own pace and chat with other
participants. I have run the races and I have volunteered in the races, and I look forward to it
each year no matter how I participate.”

AANR-SW region President Lucy Heide notes, “The Nude Racing Series is our most popular
regional event drawing hundreds of participants, both nudist and non-nudist alike to visit our
clubs.”
