Travel Season
A Great Time to Experience New Places
Travel season is in full swing, and we will be on the road quite a bit. We are taking our trailer to enjoy two conventions, AANR-West and AANR. Both conventions are being held at the wonderful Shangri La Ranch in New River, Arizona outside Phoenix. We will be building the rest of our trip around those two events.
I enjoy traveling and seeing the many public spaces and parks where we can relax clothes-free. I also enjoy the private spaces like Shangri La where we will be meeting our nudists friends, many of whom we only see in person once a year.
During the monthly GAT chat meeting I have a chance to hear from many of the most dedicated and hard-working members of our organization. At the annual meeting we have the chance to meet in person and report to the membership on what we accomplished each year. It’s also a chance for members to express their concerns directly to the team members. This year is no different, we will be there to hear what members want us to know about their legislators and their communities. They want to know how we can assist them in making changes to make it easier to enjoy their community nude.
The time at Shangri La is a chance to walk around and see how much it has changed over the years and enjoy the hospitality of the Faber family and enjoy the legacy Gigi and Horst Kraus created there, and that their family shares with us. Granted, August is a bit hot there so time outside needs to be with plenty of hydration and pool time or inside enjoying the facilities during the daylight hours. The desert comes alive at night, and it is always a treat to see that change from day to night.
