I’m really pleased with the responses we have received to the January Bulletin features on Government Affairs. Members can count on us to review legislation and represent our concerns for protecting nude use because of the dedication of the many people who wrote in that issue and other members of the team.
Each month we gather the team on a call where we include representatives from other nudist organizations to share what we have been working on to promote and protect nudists values. Your fellow members of AANR make the effort to stay informed on legislation and follow trends that may help us educate others to the value of being nude for health, fitness, and fun. We are after all here to enjoy the clothes-free life. Your personal commitment to nudism by your membership helps us support our efforts and we appreciate every member of AANR.
Springtime is also when a lot of the clubs and groups start ramping up their calendar of activities to take advantage of the warmer months to come. World Naked Gardening Day is just around the corner, and we want to have gardens ready to enjoy in our natural state. I hope to have a garden laid out this year to enjoy the fruits of my labor when the harvest time approaches.
March is also when I take my annual trip with my older brother to visit baseball spring training. A trip to Arizona that time of year is much nicer for visiting ShangriLa Ranch in New River rather than August like we did last year! It’s a chance to reconnect and catch up on what has happened this last year. I take the time to listen to others tell me what they found interesting or concerning over the year. This is an opportunity to see what others find important in their lives away from the usual grind of daily life. A chance to renew old friendships and cultivate new ones. A time to learn the concerns of my fellow nudists.
I cherish the rebirth of Spring.
