Who are Sunbirds?

We are a fun, active, non-sexual, no drama, non-landed social nudist (naturist) club comprised of like-minded couples and singles in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex who enjoy getting together for nude recreation. Sunbirds was formed in 1988 and operates in affiliation with the American Association of Nude Recreation (AANR) and The Naturist Society Foundation.

We are regular people in every way, but perhaps a little more easy-going than the average clothed person. We accept people for who they are, as they are. Sunbirds come from all backgrounds and professions, and we embrace folks of all races, shapes, sizes, religions, sexual orientations, and ages (21+).

As a non-landed club, Sunbirds does not own any property, operate a resort, or have permanent physical facilities. Our activities primarily consist of parties at the homes of our members around the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex, as well as group outings to local and regional nudist resorts and nudist-friendly areas, including businesses that are nude recreation and nudist friendly.

What do Sunbirds do for fun?

We like to get naked in a wholesome way!  In the summer months (Late April to Mid October, gotta love that Texas weather!), we have pool parties and visit local nudist resorts. We play water volleyball and pickleball, run naked 5Ks, or just hang out at members’ pools (and hot tubs!) while enjoying the company of like-minded folks. All without ever having to worry about wet swimming suits or tan lines! 

In the winter months (the rest of the year), we have hot tub parties, heated pool parties, and theme parties such as Halloween, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Game Nights, Movie Nights, and any other reason we can think of to have a party! Sometimes we keep our clothes on and meet for happy hour or dinner at a local bar or restaurant, or even head to concerts and the Scarborough Renaissance Festival!
