Nudity and Children For most adults, home or a legally sanctioned nude location are comfortable places to enjoy nudity. Young kids, who don't pay attention to social norms, or completely disregard them, have a different set of clothing-optional standards. A poll taken at LilSugar last year found that readers overwhelmingly thought they'd never make rules about nudity in their own homes. While nudists, and most parents, see nudity in children to be the harmless and enjoyable thing it is, there are times to at least have a few boundaries in place when it comes to nudity at home: Only in the house or back yard, for instance, or never in front of company that are not nudists. Are today's parents too worried about what their kids aren't wearing? At The Mommy Files, Amy Graff wonders, "Whatever happened to naked summers?" Seniors Pose for Charity Calendar Nine men between the ages of 69 and 90 from the Atlantic Shores Retirement Community recently posed for a 2010 calendar to raise money for the Princess Anne Courthouse Volunteer Rescue Squad. The calendar, called the “Pin-Up Boys of Atlantic Shores,” will feature the models with strategically placed props such as kites. The calendar was the idea of community resident Don Reinhart, who died from cancer in June, said his daughter, Donna Reinhart-Bourgelas. The volunteer rescue squad responds to emergency calls at Atlantic Shores quite frequently. In one 24-hour period, four emergency calls required the squad’s response. The calendars will cost between $12 and $15, and will go on sale in September. Click here to read more.
