Ballots and candidate profiles will be inserted in the May issue of The Bulletin and sent to all voting members. In the meantime, AANR members can log on to the Member Benefits section of aanr.com to view the candidate profiles and propositions for 2008. Dr.Oz Recommends Sleeping Nude On the April 1 episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show about insomnia, Dr. Mehmet Oz, a regular on the show, gave viewers tips on how to get a better night's sleep. Citing a recent poll that 15% of all Americans sleep nude, Dr. Oz recommended sleeping in the buff as a way to get a better night's sleep, free from restrictive clothing. Dr. Oz has a series of best-selling books on health coauthored with Dr. Michael Roizen. Their latest book is You: Staying Young. Danish Pools Open to Topless Swimming A solid majority of Copenhagen's culture committee has agreed to allow women to swim topless at the city's pools. The committee now has to decide whether topless bathing will be allowed only during designated times or all the time.The proposal was originally brought forth after a group of women staged a topless protest against the swimwear rules at DGI Byen's indoor pool. Frank Hedegaard of the Socialist People's Party said, "It's all about equality. If men swim topless, then why shouldnt women be able to do the same?" Read more... Point Brewery Unveils "Nude Beach" Just in time for spring, the Stevens Point Brewery--often referred to as the Point Brewery--will unveil a new beer this month called Nude Beach. The brewery, which is located in Wisconsin, previously served just the Midwest area but has now added 10 other states to its distribution list outside the region. Point Brewery's Nude Beach is called "edgier" than other Point products and features a label with naked beach dwellers. Read more...
